Prison Island and sandbank
See the Aldabra giant Tortoise, dik-diks, peacock at Prison Island, or Changuu Island, on a half-day trip or full day trip from Zanzibar, with time to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe. Just a 30-minute boat ride from Stone Town, Prison Island has a beautiful beach, clean water, and fascinating history as a yellow fever quarantine station. Then hop back onboard and let us sail you away to a sand bank where brilliant birdlife exists. For the more active discover more underwater life around the sandbank and listen to stories from our crew , guests will savor a delicious seafood BBQ served with a cool, refreshing beverages. After lunch, snorkel among Clown fish and Moorish Idols or simply take a walk around the sandbank to witness the birdlife. We will slowly sail back to Stone Town after soaking up the sun and return back to our hotel
